Man knocked unconscious at the Foundry Project in Harrogate

Police in Harrogate have issued CCTV images of two men they would like to speak after a man was knocked unconscious. It happened at the Foundry Project on the night of 11 March 2023. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged. Officers are appealing to anyone who can help identify the men in the image, including one who was wearing a distinctive white hat, as they believe they will have information that could assist the investigation. Driver found with injuries after search following overturned vehicle on Hookstone Road, Harrogate

Around 5.45am this morning (2 February 2023) police received reports of an overturned vehicle on Hookstone Road in Harrogate. The vehicle was empty and following further reports, it was believed the driver had made off from the scene. Officers searched the area and soon after located a man suffering injuries consistent with a road traffic collision. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment. The road was reopened shortly after 11am. “Save a life and call it in” – Christmas drink and drug drive campaign

“Save a life and call it in” is the plea to members of the public this Christmas. The York and North Yorkshire Road Safety Partnership are asking people to call out anyone who is behind the wheel when under the influence of drink or drugs, by dialling 999. From 1 December 2022, North Yorkshire Police’s drink and drug drive campaign will see officers patrolling the county in marked and unmarked police vehicles in a bid to ensure that those who put their own lives and other road users lives at risk are caught and prosecuted.
