West Yorkshire Combined Authority to be asked for final funding approval for Harrogate Station Gateway

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority will be asked to approve the full business cases at its meeting on Thursday next week (14 March 14), bringing the total award to £38.3 million with additional funding provided by North Yorkshire Council. There needs to be a conversation around the Harrogate area councillors, and their Area Committee meeting, specifically what is it doing for the people of the Harrogate area. Rapid electric vehicle chargers installed in three market towns

Visitors and residents in market towns in North Yorkshire will benefit from new electric charging points for vehicles in the latest phase of a roll-out of the technology across the county. Two rapid chargers have each been installed at Cleveland Way car park in Helmsley, Water Lane car park in Malton and Eastgate car park in Pickering. Funded by Zest – one of the UK’s fastest-growing EV charging infrastructure networks – the chargers are now available to use.
