Harrogate Flower Show is a spectacular season finale, welcoming autumn in all its glory with a celebration of the harvest.
Featuring amazing floral displays, over 5,000 beautiful autumn blooms and wonderful fruit and veg, the show provides plenty of ideas and inspiration for planning a new year in the garden.
Meet monsters of the veg plot
Cabbages 6ft across, beetroots the size of baskets and marrows weighing nearly as much as a person– it must be the giant vegetable competition! The sheer size of these exhibits is nothing short of amazing and, if you fancy trying your hand at taking part, the show now has classes for novice growers.
Find big inspiration in small spaces
Who said size is everything? The fantastic garden border competition returns with lots of inspiration to take away and try at home. Each mini show garden will be packed with ideas from talented design teams across the region, so don’t miss the chance to see how any space, big or small, could be transformed.
If it is jaw-dropping colour you seek, don’t miss the spectacle of the specialist societies displays this autumn. The show features up to 5,000 beautiful autumn flowers in Britain’s biggest exhibition by amateur gardening groups. From big blousy begonias to diminutive orchid dahlias the Floral Pavilion really is a treat for the senses!
