Tate Consulting Engineers Belfast expansion

Harrogate headquartered building services engineering practice, Tate Consulting, has expanded into Belfast, initially creating five jobs in the city. The firm now plans to continue growing the team following a string of high-profile contract wins. Tate Consulting’s recently opened new Belfast office is located close to Belfast City Airport in the Belmont Office Park on Belmont Road. Richard Hall MD of Harrogate Spring Water on why they are returning to business expansion plans

Harrogate Spring Water have said that they now intend to pursue plans for the extension of their bottling plant on Harlow Moor. The development has history going back to 2017, when outline planning permission was granted. The plans were subsequently expanded by in increase of footprint of around 18%, but then declined by the HBC Planning Committee. Harrogate Spring Water took the decision to not appeal the decision. Harrogate Spring Water to previous plans to expand footprint and bottling capability in Harrogate

Harrogate Spring Water (Danone) has said that it will return to their 2017 plans, that already have outline planning permission, to expand bottling capacity by building into the Pinewoods. The proposal would see the development footprint reduce from 0.94HA to 0.77HA (just under 2 acres) –  this is a 18% smaller footprint. Since 2017, Harrogate Spring Water has had outline planning permission to expand its production facilities into an area of the Pinewoods. Councillor Michael Schofield meets with stakeholders for the Otley Road cycle way scheme

Councillor Michael Schofield met this morning (27 May 2022) with two of the stakeholders for the Otley Road cycleway scheme. Judy D’Arcy Thompson, chair of the Stray Defence Association committee and Chris Dicken from the Harlow and Pannal Ash Residents Association (HAPARA) discussed the history of the scheme, the recent NYCC stakeholder event, and their views towards it. One week left for community groups to apply for Platinum Jubilee community grant

With one week left, Harrogate Borough Council is urging community groups to apply for a Platinum Jubilee community grant to help Harrogate district residents celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Harrogate Grammar School celebrates Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year celebrations took place at Harrogate Grammar School last week, with a vibrant display of kung fu and dance. The school, students and parents/carers celebrated the Year of the Tiger with a colourful showcase of food and culture. Mandarin teacher Richard Barnard, who spent several years living in China, explained: New Year is all about togetherness, eating with the people you love and making wishes.
