Harrogate grassroots football teams can win sponsored kits and pizza thanks to Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana
Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana has launched a nationwide giveaway to support adult grassroots football, with more than £13,000 worth of bespoke football shirts and £5,000 in Rudy’s Pizza credit up for grabs.
The initiative is open to Sunday league teams, five-a-side squads, pub teams and community clubs, recognising the volunteers, coaches, organisers and players who keep grassroots football thriving.
Neal Bates, Managing Director at Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana, said: “Football is built on community, and nowhere is that more evident than in the grassroots game.
“Every week, teams across the UK come together to play and socialise, often powered by volunteers and local support giving up their time.
“We regularly welcome these teams into our pizzerias so this is our chance to give a little back to them.
“The shirts are more about what they represent – pride in your club, turning up for your teammates and being part of something bigger.
“If we can help a few teams start the season looking sharp, and then bring them together over pizza and a few beers afterwards, that’s exactly what this is about.”
Alongside the giveaway, Rudy’s has also launched a limited-edition Napoli-inspired football scarf.
Fans who wear the scarf while dining at Rudy’s and order a pizza can claim a free pint of Birrificio Angelo Poretti, subject to terms and conditions.
