Join Harrogate Theatre Choir as we celebrate our 15 year love affair with musicals. We are marking this remarkable milestone birthday with a spectacular concert 15: THE MUSICALS. The event will take place at The Crown Hotel in Harrogate on Sunday 9 March 2025, starting with a reception at 6.00 pm. As part of this special occasion, guests will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of prosecco (or non-alcoholic alternative) to begin the evening with a bit of sparkle! The Concert will commence at 6.45 pm and there will be a Bar available during the interval.
A Journey Through Musical Memories
15: The Musicals will take you on a nostalgic journey through the world of musical theatre. This memorable evening will showcase hits from iconic West End shows and classic Hollywood films, promising a delightful musical experience for everyone.
It’s our birthday, so we will be featuring some of our very favourite songs that we’ve enjoyed singing over the last 15 years. Without giving any secrets away, you can be sure that Les Miserables will most certainly feature in the HTC Top 15!
We will also be featuring songs from a selection of more contemporary musicals that have premiered on stage over the past 15 years. Musicals such as Gary Barlow and Tim Firth’s The Girls, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton, and the musical based on Luhrmann and Pearce’s 2001 film, Moulin Rouge. You can also expect songs from some of the other sensational musicals that have wowed West End audiences over recent years, namely Dear Evan Hansen, Waitress, Six and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
You can definitely expect a selection of songs that have captured the hearts of musical theatre fans worldwide.

Charity Support
We are very proud to announce that our concert is supporting Harrogate Homeless Project. This incredible local charity, established over 30 years ago, provides people experiencing homelessness with a safe place to stay and the support they need to build confidence and move towards independent living.
By supporting our concert, you are also helping someone towards a life beyond homelessness.
